FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

All of the Apple Music and iTunes charts are packed with new releases this flipover Friday: Five new songs and nine albums land in the iTunes charts and a new mixtape from YoungBoy Never Broke Again is ruling Apple Music.

The Rolling Stones’ first new song since 2012, “Living in a Ghost Town” (Universal Music), makes its way to #1 after its midday Thursday release followed by another Thursday drop, Kane Brown’s “Cool Again” (RCA Nashville) at #3.

Travis Scott & Kid Cudi’s “THE SCOTTS” (Cactus Jack/Epic/ Wicked Awesome) scurries in at #4 while also appearing at #2 on the Apple Music chart.

New Kids on the Block celebrate at #5 with “House Party” featuring Boyz II Men, Big Freedia, Naughty By Nature and Jordin Sparks.

Alicia Keys’ “Good Job” (RCA) works its way to #7 after she premiered the tune on CNN Thursday. Luis Fonsi’s song from the TV show Songland, “Sway” (Universal Music Latino), is #8 after coming out on Monday.

At albums, the ninth album from metal act Trivium, What the Dead Men Say (Roadrunner), digs in at #1. Dance Gavin Dance’s Afterburner (Rise) fires up the #2 slot and AWOLNATION’s Angel Miners & the Lightning Riders (Better Noise) parks at #3. Lucinda Williams Good Souls Better Angels (Highway 20/Thirty Tigers) floats to #4.

The full-length debut from Mom+ Pop R&B singer Alina Baraz, It Was Divine, ascends to #5 followed by The Used’s Heartwork (Big Noise) #6.

38 Baby 2 (Never Broke Again) from YoungBoy Never Broke Again is #7 at iTunes, #1 at Apple Music and five of the mixtape’s tracks are in the streaming Top 10 with another nine coming in between #11 and #30.

Jonathan McReynoldsPeople (eOne) congregates at #9 followed by Lennon Stella’s Three. Two. One. (Columbia) counting down to #10.
