For the third week in a row, Future has liberated an unreleased mixtape from his vault. On Wednesday evening, Purple Reign, the final mixtape from his historic mid-2010s run was officially released and made available on all DSPs via Freebandz/Epic.
Purple Reign follows 56 Nights and Beast Mode as the third consecutive mixtape to go wide this month.
Future reached cult-status with his relentless run of new material in the middle of the 2010s. Following a breakthrough 2015 where he dropped DS2 and his collab album with Drake, What A Time To Be Alive, Future kept feeding his fans and dropped Purple Reign and studio album EVOL in early 2016. He earned three consecutive #1 debuts in this period.
