FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

It’s a particularly good flipover Friday for Interscope as Tory Lanez and Selena Gomez are making their way up multiple iTunes and Apple Music charts. The Strokes’ sixth album, The New Abnormal (RCA,) is #1 at Tunes.

Lanez’s The New Toronto 3 is #2 at Apple Music and #5 at iTunes while his track “Broke in a Minute” is a Top 20 streamer.

“Boyfriend,” “Souvenir” and “She”—the three new songs on the deluxe edition of Gomez’s January chart-topper Rare—are in the Top 10 at iTunes songs while the new album is #8 at iTunes and Top 25 at Apple Music.

Behind The Strokes at iTunes are Nightwish’s Human :II: (Nuclear Blast) at #2 and the 18th studio album from Joe Satriani, Shapeshifting (Legacy), at #6.

The second full-length from Maddie & Tae, The Way It Feels (Mercury Nashville), opens at 7 with GAWVI’s Heathen (Reach) at #9 and David Foster’s Eleven Words (Decca) at#10.

John Prine, who died Tuesday, continues to have six albums in the Top 20.

Topping iTunes songs chart is twenty one pilots’ “Level of Concern” (Fueled By Ramen).
