FACEBOOK LAUNCHES MOVING SHORT FILM NEVER LOST

Facebook recently launched the powerful short film Never Lost to celebrate the ways people are coming together during the global pandemic. Created in collaboration with Droga5, the film emphasizes staying connected with one another and notes, “We’re never lost if we can find each other.”

Unveiled by Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg and COO Sheryl Sandberg, the 90-second film features real stories and content from people around the world and is voiced by Republic/American Recordings spoken word artist Kate Tempest with her song “People’s Faces.”

In a Facebook post, Zuckerberg shared, “We made a short film ‘Never Lost’ to honor the solidarity and resilience of so many people coming together during this time. Thank you to everyone doing your part.”

Never Lost also supports a new Facebook feature to help people impacted by COVID-19, found here. The Community Help page serves as a way for people to request or offer help, such as volunteering to get groceries and donating to food pantries or fundraisers.
