FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

The party has started this flipover Friday as PARTYNEXTDOOR’s new OVO/Warner release, Partymobile, tops the Apple Music album chart, goes Top 10 at iTunes and lands two tracks in the Apple Music Top 20.

PARTYNEXTDOOR’s track with Rihanna, “Believe It,” is #6 while “Nothing Less” is #14. At iTunes the album is #7.

Dua Lipa and Joyner Lucas are also enjoying successes across multiple charts. Lipa’s Future Nostalgia (Warner) is #2 at iTunes and #11 at Apple Music; her singles “Break My Heart” and “Don’t Start Now” are #4 and #9, respectively, at iTunes.

ADHD (Twenty Nine Music) from the Worcester, Mass., rapper Lucas is #6 at iTunes and #19 at Apple Music; his “Will” is #8 at iTunes songs.

On the iTunes albums chart, Pearl Jam’s 11th studio album Gigaton (Monkeywrench/Republic) holds down the #1 slot on a Top 10 with eight new entries. Behind Lipa is In This Moment’s Mother (Atlantic) at #3.

5 Seconds of Summer’s fourth studio album and first full-length for Interscope, CALM, is #4; the clean version is#14.

Brian Fallon’s first album in two years, Local Honey (Lesser Known/Thirty Tigers), sweetens the pot at #5; Rend Collective rounds out the rookie class with Choose to Worship (Capitol CMG) at #9.

Jesse Reyez’s Before Love Came to Kill Us (FMLY/Island), The Birthday Massacre’s Diamonds (Metropolis) and Waxahatchee’s Saint Cloud (Merge) are just outside the Top 10.

At iTunes songs, Kane Brown & John Legend’s “Last Time I Say Sorry” (RCA Nashville) opens in the top 10 as Andra Day’s “Rise Up” (Warner), first released in 2015, jumps to #2 after a use on NBC’s Today.
