Warner’s Dua Lipa has dropped her highly anticipated sophomore album, Future Nostalgia, a week earlier than expected on 3/27. With hit single "Don't Start Now" notching over 200m streams pre-release, expect the album to be at 250-300k in activity to date after its first week.
Three tracks from the dance-heavy LP already occupy Spotify’s biggest playlist, Today’s Top Hits, and “Break My Heart” went straight to the #1 spot on Pop Rising. It also arrived with a music video—watch below.
The 11-track full-length features previously released singles including the title track, “Physical” and current #1 “Don’t Start Now,” which is her highest charting song to date and has held the top spot at Top 40 for six consecutive weeks. Dua also boasts impressive streaming numbers, clocking in with over 1.3b global streams on Spotify alone for mega-hit “New Rules.”
The global pop star plans on rolling out newly-scheduled dates for her U.K./European run and is also set for CBS’ new primetime special, Homefest: James Corden's Late Late Show Special, airing Monday, 3/30 at 10pm ET. Listen to Future Nostalgia here.
