Apple Music’s Beats 1 returns to the airwaves today with new exclusive programming—direct from the hosts’ homes.
Today at 9am PT/noon ET, lead anchor Zane Lowe will check in via FaceTime with Elton John, Miley Cyrus and Lil Nas X. At noon PT/3pm ET, Ebro Darden will speak with Jhene Aiko.
Among the artists lined up to chat with Lowe later this week are Harry Styles, Charli XCX and Hayley Williams. Later in the week, Darden will chat with Lil Baby, A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Don Toliver.
Additionally, Apple Music hosts will all be back on the air with new shows in their regular time slots.
Apple Music hosts are recording their shows with field equipment from their homes, working virtually via FaceTime on iPhone.
This week’s schedule also includes radio shows from Elton John, The Weeknd, Queens of The Stone Age’s Josh Homme, Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig, DJ Khaled and others.
