Jewel will be hosting Live From San Quarantine: A Livestream Concert on 3/21 at 8pm ET/5pm PT, via her Instagram and Facebook, to raise funds to benefit her Never Broken program powered by her Inspiring Children Foundation, which was due to raise $1.8m at a fundraiser that has since been cancelled due to the COVID-19 crisis.
The cancelled fundraiser was to fund 80% of her foundation's budget to help at-risk youth with housing, food, clothing, necessities and mentoring, as well as physical, emotional, mental and health tools. Instead, Jewel conceived a livestream, with music and conversation about rising above adversity to become our best selves in the face of current challenges. Jewel's goal is to get 5k people to donate $1/day, which can be done here.
Jewel's website also offers free mental health tools. Her new online networking community, Inspire House, will be offering daily livestream programming on Twitch, including yoga, meditation, fitness, nutrition, and leadership talks to help people get through this challenging time.
