XO/Republic's The Weeknd released his fourth studio album, After Hours, late Thursday night. Listen to the album here.
The LP features previously released lead singles "Heartless" and "Blinding Lights" among its 14 tracks. Both songs have earned well over 1m in activity since release, giving the album 250k in activity to date upon streeting.
The Weeknd's third studio album, Starboy, debuted at #1 in December 2016 with a first week number of 348k units (209k sales, 175m streams). Starboy has a total of 3.7m in activity to date.
In March 2018, he released the EP My Dear Melancholy, which earned 169k in its first week, also bowing at #1.
The Alt-R&B icon was the musical guest on SNL just a few weeks ago and has a major world tour set following the album drop.
