AMAZON HITS THE PAUSE BUTTON

From 3/17-4/5 and possibly beyond, Amazon will cease accepting products into their warehouses that are not household staples, medical supplies or other high demand products. However, the show must go on, labels are still releasing music and fans, suddenly flush with time and fewer entertainment options, will want their physical music products now more than ever. With a major disruption in the supply chain comes new opportunities. Will a new player step into Amazon's void to fulfill demand? Will necessity suddenly spark innovation in distribution? Now that Amazon has momentarily stepped out of the jungle, one thing is certain, this may be the perfect opportunity for a new gorilla to emerge. Stay tuned.
