A HICKORY BURGER
AT YOUR DOORSTEP!

Are you ready for some good news? If so, read on.

When Shelli and Irving Azoff agreed to buy the Apple Pan last year, they did to ensure that the iconic 73-year-old eatery on West Pico would continue serving its signature hickory burgers, if not for eternity, as the neon sign reading “Quality Forever” promised, but for the foreseeable future. They didn’t, of course, foresee a pandemic coming, and with it the forced cessation of dine-in eating at L.A. restaurants for an uncertain period of time. But the resilient Azoffs, who have been delivering for decades, decided to throw out the venerable Apple Plan playbook and begin delivering—literally.

Reps for the Azoff Restaurant Group told LA Eater that they expect to be delivering via Postmates by Thursday. At that point, the full menu (see below—unless you have it memorized) will be available for delivery as well as takeout. Not only that, but they’ve rescinded the cash-only stipulation for the first time ever. Wartime hours will be 11am to 9pm.

Till then, you’ll have to settle for take-out and delivery from Nate ’n Al’s.
