BTS has postponed its Map of the Soul world tour that was scheduled to begin 7/3-4 at London’s Twickenham Stadium before heading to Rotterdam, Berlin and Barcelona.
Live Nation UK announced, “Unfortunately, due to the ongoing government advisories on mass gatherings, BTS Map Of The Soul Tour—Europe has been postponed. Our highest priority remains the safety of our artists and fans as well as the global community.”
The European leg was to follow the now-postponed dates BTS had planned for the U.S. Big Hit Entertainment is working on a new tour schedule, cautioning it may “require considerable time.”
Bad Religion has chosen to cancel all touring commitments for the foreseeable future. The band had been scheduled to tour extensively through North America, Japan and Europe, including a nearly sold-out co-headlining tour with Alkaline Trio.
The Newport Folk Festival and Jazz Festival have been officially canceled and the acts scheduled to perform have been invited to appear in 2021. Organizers have created multiple options for ticket holders to donate, retain tickets for 2021 or get a full refund.
Elton John has postponed the remaining North American dates on this years Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, moving 25 shows to 2021.
John’s team tweeted: “This tough decision has been made with the continued safety and well-being of his fans at a time when health services are under increased pressure and with the concern that these gatherings continue to risk accelerating the spread of the coronavirus.”
He had previously postponed 3/26-5/2 dates; the new delays are for 5/22-7/8. New show date information for 2021 will be announced soon and all original tickets will be honored at the rescheduled performances.
John's farewell tour started in September 2018 and is now scheduled to resume 9/9 in Belgium.
Louisville's Trifesta—the Louder Than Life, Hometown Rising and Bourbon & Beyonce festivals from producer Danny Wimmer Presents—have been canceled. The three events were scheduled for September.
New York’s Jazz at Lincoln Center has suspended all in-person concerts, classes and public programs through 6/30 in their two concert halls and nightclub. Kenny Chesney has delayed dates from 4/18 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, through 5/28 at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. They hope to have new dates to announce within five weeks. The tour’s new opening date is expected to be 5/30 at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh. Florida Georgia Line, Old Dominion and Michael Franti & Spearhead are also on the bill.
Billie Eilish will be rescheduling 11 shows in Philadelphia, NYC, Boston, Chicago, Nashville and elsewhere.
The Who’s U.K. and Ireland tour is being rescheduled for later in the year.
Michael Bublé will be rescheduling 15 concerts scheduled between 3/17 and 4/5. Tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates.

Camila Cabello has not been able to start rehearsals for her Romance tour so she is postponing the European leg that was scheduled to begin 5/26 in Oslo. Her North America run is slated to begin 7/29 in Vancouver, B.C.
Dua Lipa has moved her U.K. and EU Future Nostalgia to 2021, beginning 1/3 in Newcastle and wrapping 2/16 in Madrid. She plans to announce the rest of the tour, including the U.S., soon.
Metalllica’s South American shows originally planned for April are in the process of being moved to December, though a few venues may change. They expect to have new dates to announce by 3/27. Greta Van Fleet will still open the shows.
Bon Iver’s tour of Europe and the U.K. has been moved to 2021 beginning 1/8 in London. They have 10 shows running through 1/29.
Joe Satriani has moved his entire European a full year ahead. The guitarist is keeping the 4/18 release date of his Sony Legacy album Shapeshifting, but his April-June tour of Europe has been moved to 2021. He now opens 4/9/21 in Zurich and has 22 dates booked through 5/6 in Glasgow. He has another 20+ dates to reschedule.
Guns N’ Roses has rescheduled all South American and Central American tour dates. The 10-city run now begins 11/8 in the Dominican Republic and wraps 12/6 in Bogota, Colombia.
Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets have moved their 14-date U.K. tour to October. It was slated to start 4/23.

L.A.’s first edition of Cruel World, the '80s-themed festival with Morrissey, Bauhaus and Blondie headlining, has been moved to 9/12.
BottleRock Napa Valley has been rescheduled for the weekend of 10/2-4 at the Napa Valley Expo. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stevie Nicks, Dave Matthews Band, Miley Cyrus, Khalid, Anderson .Paak & the Free Nationals and Zedd are confirmed for the rescheduled dates. The Great Escape, the 5/13-16 festival for new music in Brighton, England, has been canceled. It will return in 2021.
Insomniac Events’ electronic dance music festival Beyond Wonderland SoCal has been moved to 6/19-20.
J. Cole’s DreamvilleFestival in North Carolina has been moved to 8/29 from early April.
The ninth annual Treefort Music Fest in downtown Boise, Idaho, has been moved to 9/23-27 from 3/25-29.

Slipknot’s heavy-metal festival Knotfest Japan in Chiba, Japan, is looking for new dates later in the year. Korn, Marilyn Manson, Anthrax and more were scheduled to perform.

Sofar Sounds has canceled upcoming shows for 2,000 artists in hundreds of cities across six continents since 3/13. They have advanced each artist’s full payment for the canceled shows and is establishing a fund with an initial goal of $250,000 to focus on providing direct financial support to the artists who rely on Sofar and other local gigs to make a living.
The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony has been rescheduled for 11/7, with the live broadcast from the Public Auditorium in Cleveland.
