ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD

With a far greater than usual number of big tours now on sale, lots and lots of tickets are being sold—but sales of some stadium tours are said to be soft, and some worse than soft. Several big acts, having made the touring rounds multiple times over the last few years, have lost some of the excitement associated with seeing them for the first time; some simply don’t have the right resume and/or brand for a big trek; and a few have overreached, booking stadiums when they should be playing arenas. A further x factor in the live equation is the coronavirus pandemic, which could severely affect mass gatherings in the near future. Stay tuned for updates on this ongoing story.
