MILEY TO HEADLINE AUSSIE BUSHFIRE BENEFIT
Miley Cyrus will headline the World Tour Bushfire Relief concert to benefit Australian fire relief efforts on 3/13 at Lakeside Stadium in Melbourne. Lil Nas X, The Veronicas and DJ Seb Fontaine will join Cyrus as special guests.
The charity event is a partnership between Apollo World Touring, TEG Dainty, Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith’s Westbrook Inc., and World Tour global sponsor AgBioEn, a carbon negative, renewable energy and fuel company in Melbourne, Australia.
Proceeds will go to two Australian-based nonprofits who are working to restore forests and wildlife, as well as rebuilding communities affected by the devastating fires, namely The WWF Australian Wildlife and Nature Recovery Fund and The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal. The concert, which will take place alongside the Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix, is expected to raise millions.
The World Tour Bushfire Relief concert will take place one night prior to the previously announced World Tour Saturday show, at which Robbie Williams will headline on 3/14, also at Lakeside Stadium in Melbourne.
