LEGACY ROLLLS OUT PRINCE RARITIES
This year’s first round of physical Prince albums from Sony’s Legacy Recordings and the Prince Estate will be released 4/17 and will include live albums from his 2001/02 tours.
One Nite Alone…, the four-LP set One Nite Alone…Live! and the double LP One Nite Alone: The Aftershow…It Ain't Over! will each get their first-ever vinyl release in limited-edition purple; 2001's The Rainbow Children will be available on CD for the first time in decades and on a crystal-clear double LP. Up All Nite with Prince: The One Nite Alone Collection is a five-CD collection with a 48-page bound book that includes the DVD Prince Live at The Aladdin Las Vegas.
Individual music videos for songs from Prince Live at The Aladdin Las Vegas will be released on digital services beginning Friday and rolled out through 4/17.
The Rainbow Children was commercially released 11/20/01 on NPG Records; One Nite Alone…, Prince's 25th studio album, was released 5/14/02 and features Prince singing and accompanying himself on piano.
