REVELRIES BREAK OUT IN SANTA MONICA

Louisiana-based, Red Light-managed four-piece The Revelries has been signed to a development deal by EDGEOUT Records, a new label focused on building the careers of rock bands. EDGEOUT, which launched in December, has an exclusive deal with UMG/UMe that allows its acts to utilize the reso any Universal label. Its offices are in UMG’s Santa Monica headquarters.

“EDGEOUT Records is committed to discovering the next generation of rock artists,” said label chief Tony Guanci. “The Revelries’ talent, drive and desire are only rivaled by their work ethic. We expect great things from the band.”

A key component of EDGEOUT’s development program is The Studio, which provides each band with the resources to focus on their direction, songs, performance, artwork and other tools. They also learn about the business, including exposure and revenue in the global marketplace.

“The band has been working hard and has accomplished a lot on their own in the past two years,” Red Light’s Jefferson Manning offered. “The backing of EGDEOUT Records and Universal Music Group/UMe will be a huge help in the continued success of The Revelries.”
