Eminem’s video for “Rap God” has crossed the billion-view threshold at YouTube becoming his third video to venture into 10 figures.
“A billion Stans can’t be wrong,” Eminem says.
“Rap God” joins “Not Afraid” (1.3b) and “Love the Way You Lie” (1.9b) in the billion view club.
In recent months, Eminem has seen considerable YouTube activity, much of it surrounding the release of his Music to be Murdered By (Shady/Aftermath/Interscope) and his surprise appearance at the Academy Awards.
"Killshot" had the biggest hip-hop debut in YouTube history when it was viewed more than 38m in its first 24 hours.
Following the release of Music to be Murdered By, Eminem had 11 tracks on the U.S. Top Tracks chart and was #1 on the U.S. Top Artists chart.
In the last 12 months, his videos have been viewed 1.1b times in the U.S.
