CHART STORY: FATHER OF ALL... THIS WEEK'S BOWS

Pop-punk legends Green Day earn the top debut on the HITS Top 50 with the release of their 13th studio album, Father of All… (Warner/Reprise). The Crush-repped band’s set bows at #4 with 40k. Roddy Ricch returns to #1 for a fourth non-consecutive week.

Following a surprise performance at the Academy Awards, Eminem’s Music to Be Murdered By (Shady/Aftermath/Interscope) moves up two notches to #2, moving 54k units. The album topped the iTunes chart following his better-late-than-never appearance at the Oscars, where he delivered 2003’s Best Original Song, “Lose Yourself.”

Also receiving an Oscars bump was the Frozen 2 Soundtrack (Disney), which increased 20% and moved into the Top 15 at #12, likely fueled by Idina Menzel’s rendition of “Into the Unknown” on the Sunday night broadcast.

Buzzing Brooklyn rapper Pop Smoke makes his Top 50 debut—and earns the week’s second-highest bow—with Meet the Woo 2 (Victor Victor/Republic). The heavily streamed mixtape checks in at #7 with 34k.

As for marketshare, UMG leads with 56%, followed by WMG’s 25%, SME with 18% and 2% for Indies.

This week, Justin Bieber returns with his highly anticipated fifth studio album, Changes (RBMG/Def Jam). The superstar can expect a stadium-sized first week for his first LP in five years. Also streeting this week are Tame Impala’s The Slow Rush (Modular/Interscope), Monsta X’s All About Luv (Epic) and a self-titled LP from Carly Pearce (Big Machine).
