CULTURE COLLECTIVE GROOVIN' WITH INGROOVES

Culture Collective, the management company started in 2019 by former Red Light Management EVP & GM Jonathan Azu, has signed a global distribution deal with Ingrooves Music Group, the independent marketing and distribution company owned by UMG.

The first release under the new partnership is Grammy-nominated R&B singer/songwriter Luke James, whose new album to feel love/d dropped on 1/31.

to feel love/d marks James’ return to music following a two-year hiatus to focus on acting. Three singles from the album, “go girl” ft. BJ The Chicago Kid and Ro James, “all of your love” and “blow,” have received placements on playlists such as Spotify’s Are & Be and The Newness, Amazon Music’s R&B Rotation, and SiriusXM’s Heart & Soul.

“Launching a Culture Collective distribution pipeline is a logical step in giving our artists the ability to release music to their fans the way they want," said Culture Collective founder Azu. "Ingrooves provides us the kind of flexibility and know-how that we need to give artists like Luke James an opportunity to build their legacies on their own terms."

“In Culture Collective, Jonathan is building the kind of company that our industry needs,” said EVP and GM of Ingrooves Amy Dietz. “His vision to empower a diverse group of artists in every area of their career is going to be a game changer, and we’re thrilled to be a part of his team.”

Culture Collective's artist roster also includes Emily King, Cory Henry and Michelle Williams.
