RCA's Doja Cat and BROCKHAMPTON are soaring at streaming and crossing to radio, further evidence that radio is reacting to action on the DSPs. While both acts already benefit from dedicated fanbases, their latest singles have caught fire with a new audience at Top 40 and Rhythm radio as they continue to climb the streaming charts.
10Q/Maverick-repped Doja Cat (on Kemosabe) has a new streaming hit in the pipeline with "Say So," which is absolutely exploding on TikTok. The label is currently pivoting from the Dr. Luke-produced smash "Juicy" to "Say So" at Top 40—the latter is already earning big adds including KIIS-FM and has held steady in the top 25 at Spotify U.S. "Juicy" is currently #31 at Pop.
BROCKHAMPTON have a hit on their hands after earning enormous buzz over the last two years. With TikTok sweetening its story as well, "SUGAR" keeps climbing at Spotify (#23, with 5m weekly streams) and Apple Music (#45); it's currently #32 and growing at Pop radio.
Peter Edge is learning a new victory dance called The Fleckitelli, which his Co-Presidents say will go viral on TikTok very soon.
