Pet Shop Boys are leading the way on today’s U.K. Official Albums midweek chart with Hotspot (X2). Over on singles, Lewis Capaldi is on course to claim his second #1.
Hotspot is currently 3k combined sales ahead of J Hus with his second album, Big Conspiracy (Black Butter). While Hotspot is winning on downloads and physical sales, Big Conspiracy is ahead on streams.
The latest mixtape from British rapper M Huncho, Huncholini The 1st (Island), is the third highest new entry at #5.
Twin Atlantic are heading for a third Top 10 with fifth studio album, Power (Virgin EMI), at #7, and The Dave Clark Five retrospective, All The Hits (BMG) could mark their first Top 10 appearance in over 41 years at #8.
On the Official Singles midweeks, Capaldi’s “Before You Go” (Virgin EMI) has risen four places to #1 following the release of the track's official music video.
The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” (Island) is on course to reach #2, while Billie Eilish’s “Everything I Wanted” (Polydor) could return to the Top 10 on Friday at #7, also spurred on by the release of its music video.
