BILLIE TAKES A DRIVE

Darkroom/Interscope’s Billie Eilish has dropped her new, self-directed music video for her latest single, “everything i wanted,” and it’s everything you can expect. This is the second Eilish-directed video, the first being “xanny.”

Announced on her Instagram just an hour before its release, the video begins with “Finneas is my brother and best friend. No matter what the circumstance, we have always and always will be there for each other.”

In Eilish fashion, the video of the two siblings—seemingly driving through the streets of L.A.—takes an eerie turn as she drives them into ocean. While the car sinks and begins filling with water, the siblings hold hands and sink to the bottom rather calmly.

18-year-old Eilish—who is also penning the title track for the new James Bond film—will be performing at the Grammys this Sunday, where she’s the youngest artist in history to be nominated for in all the big four categories.
