FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

Selena Gomez’s first full-length album in more than four years, Rare (Interscope), has secured the #1 slot at iTunes on the first flipover Friday of the year packed with new releases.

In the early hours of its release, Rare is #10 at Apple Music.

Another five rookies fill up the Top 10 at iTunes albums, starting at #2 with Ronnie Dunn’s reinterpretation of songs from his pre-Brooks & Dunn days, Re-Dunn (LWR).

Disney’s soundtrack for High School Musical: The Musical: The Series #3 followed by Poppy’s I Disagree (Sumerian) #5 and #17 at Apple Music. The seventh album from indie country singer Frank Foster, The Way It Was (Lone Chief), #6.

The third proper release in 14 months from Moneybagg Yo, Time Served (N-Less/Interscope), slams in at #7 and is the top newcomer at Apple Music, where it sits at #6.

Canadian pop-country singer Tenille Arts captains the #10 slot with Love, Heartbreak & Everything In Between (Reviver).

At Apple Music, Tame Impala’s The Slow Rush (Island) has worked its way into the Top 25 with just four tracks released. Its official release date is 2/14.

At iTunes songs, Future’s collaboration with Drake, “Life is Good” (Epic), opens at #7 while “Good News,” the first track released from Mac Miller’s posthumous album Circles (Warner), is #10.
