EVP STRIPES FOR ARNOLD AT REPUBLIC

Tyler Arnold, who has worked for Republic Records since landing an internship in 2014, has been promoted to Executive Vice President of A&R.

Republic EVP Rob Stevenson made the announcement.
Arnold, responsible for leading the effort to sign and develop Post Malone, will continue to spearhead A&R for artists across genres, securing new talent and expanding and extending the legacies of the label’s artists.

Since joining the company, he has been partnering with super producer Metro Boomin and his Boominati Worldwide label, and bringing acts such as Jeremy Zucker and Chelsea Cutler into the fold. He was named Vice President in 2017.
“Tyler has proven himself to be one of the industry’s most prescient A&R executives,” Stevenson said. “His ability to recognize talent and execute a vision that nurtures an artist to their fullest potential makes him the total picture of a modern music executive. He is helping drive the sound of an entire generation.”

To celebrate, Arnold’s custom designing face tattoos for the New York A&R staff.
