In its fourth week since a dominant #1 debut in mid-December (and third-largest first week of 2019), Harry Styles' Fine Line (Columbia) is already over 600k in activity.
Lead single "Adore You" was serviced to Pop radio in early December—where it closed out the panel upon impact—and is now inside the top 20 and climbing.
The track, along with "Watermelon Sugar," has fared exceptionally well at Spotify U.S. with both songs maintaining a presence inside the top 20.
Fine Line's unwavering at the top of the albums chart is especially impressive considering it's a pop album. While it is common for pop albums to get the one-and-done treatment in the hip-hop dominant streaming landscape, Fine Line isn't going anywhere.
On his sophomore LP, Styles doubled down on his focused sound—he bet on his fanbase's acceptance and challenged the status quo with his own brand of pop-rock. Clearly, that strategy is paying dividends.
