ALLMAN BROTHERS CELEBRATE 50 YEARS

Former members of The Allman Brothers Band will reunite for a one-night only performance at Madison Square Garden on 3/10 to celebrate 50 years of the ABB.

Jaimoe, Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks, Oteil Burbridge and Marc Quinones will be joined by drummer Duane Trucks and organist Reese Wynans plus special guest Chuck Leavell, the pianist in the band in the 1970s.

Presales for the Live Nation-produced concert begin on 1/7; the public on-sale begins 1/10.

"From the Fillmore East to the Beacon, NYC has always been a spiritual home for the Allman Brothers,” said guitarist Derek Trucks. “So it only feels natural to honor uncle Butch, Gregg, Berry, Duane and all the other brothers and sisters we have lost along the way here at MSG.”

Portions of the proceeds will benefit The Big House in Macon, Ga., which serves as the band’s official museum.
