SET YOUR DVRS: HOLIDAY BREAK EDITION

Eddie Murphy will host and Lizzo will be the musical guest on SNL 12/21 on NBC. This will be Murphy’s long-awaited return to Studio 8H, his first hosting gig since he left SNL in 1984, having only appeared briefly on the show’s 40th anniversary special in 2015. No word yet on whether Murphy will dust off and perform his 1982 novelty hit "Boogie in Your Butt."

New Year's Rockin' Eve 12/31 on ABC will feature performances by Post Malone, BTS, Sam Hunt, Alanis Morissette, Jonas Brothers, Sheryl Crow, Usher, Ciara, Paula Abdul, Kelsea Ballerini, Blanco Brown, Dan + Shay, Green Day, Dua Lipa, Ava Max, Megan Thee Stallion, Anthony Ramos, Salt-N-Pepa and SHAED, spread over three time zones.

NBC's New Year's Eve live from Times Square on 12/31 will feature performances by X Ambassadors, Brett Eldrege, Ne-Yo, Leslie Odom Jr., Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, The Struts and Keith Urban.
