KEEPING UP WITH KALEO

This weekend, Triple 8's Kaleo toasted to debut A/B, which officially surpassed 1.5m in worldwide consumption. The Icelandic group, who has been prepping for ACL Live (12/16), also celebrated having more than 1b streams and 39 international certifications.

Clearly in the holiday spirit, lead singer JJ Julius Son revealed that two new songs are expected to drop in January, ahead of their 2020 sophomore album.

“It’s truly remarkable to see a band connect on such a global scale just one album in,” said Kaleo’s manager, Triple 8’s Bruce Kalmick—pictured here with the band. “It’s a testament to JJ’s talent as a writer, performer and a creative. From clubs to festivals, they have built this immense following with a lot of hard work, over 200 tour dates and years on the road. We’re excited to move toward the release of some incredible new music in January 2020 with a full album to come later next year. Hey, you! Pass the fermented shark!”
