Taylor Swift will close the 50th edition of the Glastonbury festival with a headline performance on 6/28.
It will be Swift’s first appearance at the festival and the first time in four years that a solo female artist has played a headline slot. Organizers have said they’re working toward getting a 50-50 split among male and female performers for the 2020 fest.
Paul McCartney will headline Saturday; Diana Ross has been announced the “legends” slot. The festival has not yet been announced for the Friday shows though organizers have told media outlets it’s a star who has never appeared at Glastonbury. Oddsmakers have Kendrick Lamar posted as the favorite.
