The Top 5 Highest-Grossing Films in America Over the Weekend

Disney's Frozen II can celebrate a record-breaking weekend, as the film scored the biggest three and five-day cumes yet for the Thanksgiving holiday stretch—with more than $85m and $123m, respectively. According to Box Office Mojo, it's already surpassed $287m, after just 10 days since release, and $739m globally, after 12 days.

The two editions of the soundtrack continue to hold down the top two slots at iTunes.

1. Frozen II (Disney) $85.3m weekend gross from 4,440 theaters (week 2)
2. Knives Out (Lionsgate) $27.0m weekend gross from 3,461 theaters (debut)
3. Ford v Ferrari (Fox) $13.2m weekend gross from 3,585 theaters (week 3)
4. A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (Sony) $11.8m weekend gross from 3,235 theaters (week 2)
5. Queen & Slim (Universal) $11.7m weekend gross from 1,690 theaters (debut)
