FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

While The Weeknd holds down the top slots at iTunes and Apple Music on the songs side, Fabolous is the top newcomer at albums on both charts.

Fabolous’ first major release since 2017, Summertime Shootout 3: Coldest Summer Ever (Def Jam) slides in at #3 at iTunes and #17 at Apple Music. Sony Legacy’s 12-track Pink Floyd compilation, The Latter Years: 1987-2019, follows on iTunes at #4.

This flipover Friday sees K-Pop nonet EXO at #5 with OBSESSION—The 6th Album (SM) while rapper Rittz cracks the Top 10, placing Put a Crown on It (CNT) at #6.

Wwcd (Shady/Griselda) from Buffalo, N.Y. rap crew Griselda spins in at #7; The Game’s ninth album Born 2 Rap (eOne) is #8; and Atlantic’s original Broadway cast album for Jagged Little Pill is #10.

A new album from Cattle Decapitation and Warner‘s expanded edition of Prince’s 1999 are in the Top 20.

At songs, The Weeknd’s “Heartless” (XO/Republic), which dropped on Wednesday, sits at #1 at iTunes and Apple Music. His other release, “Blinding Lights,” is #3 at iTunes.

Don’t forget, it’s the Black Friday edition of Record Store Day. Support your local record shop.
