THE SUMMER OF METALLICA STARTS AT EPICENTER

The full lineup for the first of the five festivals Metallica will headline in the U.S next year has been announced.  Joining James, Lars, Kirk and Rob at Epicenter will be Disturbed, Deftones, Godsmack, Papa Roach and others.

The Danny Wimmer Presents three-day festival held 5/1–3 at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C. will also feature Lynyrd Skynyrd, Volbeat, Staind, David Lee Roth, Gojira, Chevelle, Cypress Hill, Rancid and others.

This will be the first time Epicenter has been held at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Metallica will play different sets of music in their headlining sets on 5/1 and 5/3. Metallica will also be playing Wimmer’s Welcome To Rockville in Daytona Beach, Fla.; Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival in Columbus, Ohio;  Louder Than Life in Louisville; Aftershock in Sacramento.
