Taylor Swift has taken to social media to air her displeasure with Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun, who currently control the superstar's master recordings under Ithaca's Big Machine Label Group.
The Tumblr, Twitter and Instagram posts from Swift allege that Borchetta/Braun are "exercising tyrannical control over someone who just wants to play the music she wrote."
She also alleges that Big Machine is declining the usage of her masters for an upcoming Netflix documentary (which she revealed for the first time) and a special performance she had planned for the American Music Awards—leaving production of both projects as a question mark.
Taylor then calls for fans to let Braun, Borchetta, their artists and even The Carlyle Group know how they feel about her situation.

Fans have launched a "Let Taylor Swift Perform" petition, and as of midnight eastern on 11/15 they'd gathered 44k+ signatures, seeking 50k. "On Taylor Swift’s personal social pages," the petition reads, "it has been made clear Scott Borchetta sold her work to Scooter Braun in a strange revenge tactic, and now they are quite literally holding HER artwork hostage."
