Word has it that after a high-profile contest, a deal is essentially done for indie breakout Ant Saunders. Though the ink isn’t dry and no terms of the deal have been divulged, it’s believed that the artist’s team (led by manager Nick Mueller and attorney Sebastian Zar of Theo Sedlmayr & Associates) were seeking $2m for the single rights. Saunders’ “Yellow Hearts” first blew up at TikTok before getting traction at Spotify, where it’s moved into the Top 20 U.S.
