A BRUSH WITH COMBS

On the occasion of Luke Combs' visit to Kimmel—including a couch convo with the host as well as a performance, both of which you can sample below—the River House/Columbia Nashville star and manager Chris Kappy found themselves trapped in what's known in the industry as a "green-room worst-case scenario," forced to make small talk with HITS President of His Desk Todd Hensley. Invited to join Hensley on a fishing trip, the two commented that that would be just fantastic and they would love to, while edging ever closer to the exit. (Photo credit: David Bergman)
