Steve Barnett and key players on Team Capitol bestow a plaque on breakout star Lewis Capaldi commemorating 2.5m adjusted track sales and 350m combined streams for his globally bloody-fookin'-enormous single "Someone You Loved," which is currently #3 at Pop radio, having already hit #1 at Hot AC and Shazam. The track has amalgamated 1.2 billion+ streams worldwide. Capaldi's critically lauded debut full-length release, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, is the U.K.'s fastest-selling album.
Capaldi, one of the year's only breakouts in the adult-pop space, is being widely tipped for a brace of Grammy nominations; he's lately widened his circle of admirers with several high-profile TV looks.
Seen just before getting lit on black tea and Walker's shortbread are (l-r) Senior Marketing Manager Sam Breslin, manager Ryan Walter, Capaldi, Barnett, VP Global Commercial Marketing Jen Ashworth and EVP Promo Greg Marella.
