Last year's 2019 winner was Pharrell Williams, who was not on this year's submission list. Greg Kurstin won back to back in 2018 and 2017. Linda Perry was nominated in 2019, The Stereotypes were nominated in 2018, and Benny Blanco and Ricky Reed were both nominated in 2017.

Meanwhile, we produced 365 perfect bowel movements during the eligibility year, but for some reason our nomination never solidified.
