With his latest single "Intro" (Interscope) sitting at #1 on Apple Music, DaBaby has announced he will drop a full-length on Friday titled Kirk.
He announced the album’s release date at a show at UCLA Monday then posted the cover art this morning. Among his guests on the album are Chance the Rapper, Nicki Minaj, Lil Baby and Migos. Speaking of guest appearances, the hot rapper is on six tracks in the Top 30 at Apple Music, with features on top-performing songs from Post Malone (#4), Lil Baby (#6), Lil Nas X and Megan Thee Stallion.
DaBaby has become the go-to feature for artists looking to climb streaming charts; in the last month he jumped on remixes for "Panini" and "Truth Hurts."
"Intro" marks a dramatic change for for the provocative, ruckus-raising rapper. On his most introspective song yet, DaBaby raps about serious topics like the passing of his father, raising his children and his grandma's battle with cancer, all while flexing and maintaining his DGAF attitude.
