FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

Guitars dominate the Top 4 at iTunes this flipover Friday as Zac Brown Band leads the way. A new single from Maroon 5 races up the songs chart as well.

The sixth studio album from the Zac Brown Band, The Owl (No Reserve/BMG), sits at #1 today, followed by blink-182 at #2 with NINE (Viking Wizard Eyes/Columbia). The veteran band is promoting the album with a halftime performance on Monday Night Football and headlining the TwitchCon party on 9/28 at Petco Park in their hometown of San Diego.

As I Lay Dying’s Shaped By Fire (Nuclear Blast) is #3, and the debut solo album from the Alabama ShakesBrittany Howard, Jaime (ATO), is #4.

Island has two entries in the Top 10: The fourth studio album from Tove Lo, Sunshine Kitty, is #6, and Keane’s first full-length since 2012, Cause and Effect, is #8.

Fitz and the Tantrums' All the Feels (Elektra) jumps in at #7, while Liam Gallagher’s Why Me? Why Not (Warner) is #10.

Maroon 5’s new “Memories” (222/Interscope) is already #3 at iTunes songs, while last year’s duet between Calum Scott and Leona Lewis, “You Are the Reason” (Capitol), has zoomed into the Top 10 following a performance on America’s Got Talent.

Country music, meanwhile, is muscling its way into Apple Music’s Top 40. With six of its 17 tracks released, Luke CombsWhat You See Is What You Get (River House/Columbia Nashvlle) has climbed to #6 at the streaming service, while Jason Aldean’s 9 (Broken Bow), with just four tracks available, is #32.
