APPLE POACHES AUSTIN DABOH

Austin Daboh is the new man on the ground at Apple Music in London where he joins the streaming service as Head of Editorial for the U.K. and Ireland. He has spent the last three years in a similar role at Spotify.

Daboh’s new job was first reported by MBW. He starts the role immediately and reports to Head of Music George Ergatoudis, who he previously worked with at Spotify and while leading the music team at BBC Radio 1Xtra.

The Apple Music editorial team in the U.K. reports to Daboh, who is responsible for the editorial and playlist ecosystem in the region, with a particular focus on helping to break new talent.
