U.K. CHARTS: MALONE POSTS SECOND #1

Post Malone has scored his second #1 on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart with Hollywood’s Bleeding (Island) finishing with double the combined sales of his closest competitor. Elsewhere, new Sony rapper Aitch is #3 on albums and #2 on singles.

Hollywood’s Bleeding joins Malone’s 2018 album, Beerbongs and Bentleys, in hitting the top spot, while Ed Sheeran stays at #2 this week with No.6 Collaborations Project (Atlantic).

Manchester rapper Aitch has been in development since signing to Sony U.K. label Since 93 last year. He’s new at #3 today with second EP, AitcH20, while his latest single, “Taste (Make it Shake),” continues to climb the Official Singles Chart, moving up one place to #2. 

Status Quo have their 25th Top 10 album with Backbone (Ear Music) at #6, and Melanie Martinez has her first Top 10 with K-12 (Atlantic) at #8. Jax Jones EP Snacks rises 10 places to #9 following the release of its full-length edition, Snacks (Supersize) (Polydor).

Belinda Carlisle’s Gold album (Demon) debuts at #11, Bat For Lashes’ Lost Girls (AWAL) lands at #13, and Black Star Riders claim their third Top 20 with Another State Of Grace (Nuclear Blast) at #14.

On the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart, Sheeran and Stormzy have a third week at #1 with “Take Me Back to London” (Atlantic) on 8.45m streams, and 13k combined chart sales ahead of Aitch at #2.

Malone has three tracks in the Top 10 with “Circles” climbing six slots to #5, “Goodbyes” f/Young Thug up four to #10,  and “Hollywood’s Bleeding” as the highest new entry at #11.

Kosovar DJ and producer Regard leaps 10 places with "Ride It" (Ministry of Sound) to #15, Stormzy’s "Sounds of the Skeng" (Atlantic/Merky) is his 16th Top 40, new at #20, and Aitch scores his fourth, as "Buss Down" f/Ziezie goes straight in at #21.
