CAMILA CABELLO'S
DOUBLE PLAY

You probably heard that Epic's Camila Cabello is killing at Pop radio with "Liar" and "Shameless," both of which have been racking up adds and have a strong shot at being #1 and #2 Most Added; both cuts have charted at the format (at #37 and #40, respectively). Now Mediabase President/COO Philippe Generali has weighed in to note the singularity of Cabello's achievement.

"Camila has become a superstar at the young age of 22," Generali says. "Not only is she the first solo performer to have two debuts at the Top 40 format in the same week, Camila has her duet “Senorita” with Shawn Mendes at #1 this week. She had two #1 hits already as a solo artist with “Havana” and “Never Be The Same” at Top 40. Radio programmers are keenly aware of Camila’s popularity putting two songs immediately into rotation for them to debut within days of release. Mediabase congratulates Camila, Epic Records, and Sony Music on this great accomplishment with more sure to come."

Sylvia Rhone, Rick Sackheim, Sandra Afloarei, Scott Dimig, manager Roger Gold and teams are mixing up Mojitos in celebration.
