The Clio Music program that honors the creative business has placed uses of music by Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande and Kesha among its winners. Trophies will be handed 9/25 at The Manhattan Center in New York.
Kobalt Music Group’s Apple spot “Come Out and Play” starring Ellish scored gold in the Use of Music medium while the video for her “When the Party’s Over” was similarly honored. Spotify’s Eilish campaign is a gold winner in the Event Design category.
Grande’s “No Tears to Cry” (Republic) gets a gold in Film/Video Technique and a silver in Music Videos. Labelmates The Jonas Brothers got a silver for Album Launch/Promotion. Columbia’s LSD: The Game secured silvers in Games/Contests and Album Launch/Promotion.
McCann New York’s “The Most Vicious Cycle” was a big winner in the Clio Music program, with one gold, six silvers and three bronzes for the music video for Kesha’s single “Safe” depicting the endless cycle of gun violence in America. Kesha: Rainbow—The Film grabbed a silver in Film/Video Over Five Minutes.
