Toby Andrews, GM of Astralwerks, is having a very good week. The CMG label has both the #1 dance/electronic song (“Happier” by Marshmello & Bastille, which has held its perch for 49 weeks), and the #1 dance/electronic album (ILLENIUM's Ascend).
"Good Things Fall Apart" by ILLENIUM f/Jon Bellion is Top 40 at Pop radio, Top 10 at Alternative and has entered the Top 50 U.S. at Shazam.
Astralwerks has 15 of the Top 50 dance/electronic songs chart, which helps explain a weekly current market share in the dance genre north of 25%.
ILLENIUM'S album also includes collabs with X Ambassadors, The Chainsmokers and Lennon Stella. No word yet on an alleged collab with Fidel Castro's crocodile.
