REPUBLIC'S
MOON SHOTS

Republic hosted a lavish post-VMAs soiree at The Fleur Room at Moxy Chelsea, which was attended by all manner of glittery people with blingy careers, including trophy-winning artists Taylor Swift and the Jonas Brothers. Some guests looked fabulous while demurely sipping craft cocktails, while others absconded with trays of hors d'oeuvres and ate them in a corner like caged animals. We don't judge. Anyway, here are some very important people looking fancy.

The ubiquitous and ultra-gifted Taylor Swift embraces label chief Monte Lipman, whose personal anthem is "You need not to calm down but to become increasingly more intense while crushing everything in your path, but in a very haimisch way."

Avery Lipman greets EVP/GM Jim Roppo and Robin Roppo shortly before all three were seized by a wave of MTV nostalgia and spent the remainder of the evening binge-watching T'Pau videos.

Monte joins the label's John Taylor, Joe Jonas, Kevin Jonas and manager Phil McIntyre to rehearse some last-minute changes to their choreography.

Taylor is flanked by Bella and Gigi Hadid in one of those classic tableaux that makes us feel really not so great about how our own lives turned out. But we digress.
