DIAMOND'S A SUMMERSTAGE
ICON NOW

City Parks Foundation (CPF) will honor Paradigm's Marty Diamond with its SummerStage Icon Award at their 2019 Gala. The 30th Anniversary Gala & Concert will take place in Central Park and feature a dinner, as well as performances by Sara Bareilles, Janelle Monaé and David Gray.

The event is scheduled for Monday, 8/26. The cocktail reception and dinner is slated for 6:30-8:30pm, with awards and performances to follow. Tickets are available here.

Diamond is being recognized for his long-standing support of the performing arts and festivals.

Meanwhile, we feel we deserve to be recognized by the folks at Bud Light and Taco Bell for our remarkable, long-standing support; alas, our calls and messages have gone unanswered. But we digress...

“As a native New Yorker and family man, I’m one of many who directly benefit from City Parks Foundation and their ongoing effort to enhance and preserve the city’s open spaces,” says Diamond. “It’s an honor to be recognized by an organization committed to inspiring the next generation of creatives by bringing music and arts to their own backyard.”

Through CPF's Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage Festival, it's the largest presenter of free arts and cultural programs in New York City parks, and serves 300k New Yorkers each year through arts, education, sports and community-building initiatives.
