Following a live Q&A on YouTube, Taylor Swift premiered the colorful video for "Lover," the title track to her seventh studio album. Watch the visual below. The video was directed by YNTCD director Drew Kirsch and features Reputation tour dancer Christian Owens as the male lead.
During the live session, the Republic superstar performed a lovely acoustic version of "The Archer" for the first time. She also brought out fashion designer Stella McCartney to introduce their Lover merchandise collaboration and unveil the NYC Pop-up shop.
Among the topics covered by Swift from the Q&A, she offered some advice to aspiring musicians: "Try your best to own your work." She added, "Try writing your own songs. Being a writer gives you more control of your own legacy."
She discussed getting her first cat, tour and middle school.
Swift also shared some pages from her diaries that will be featured in the Target exclusive deluxe version of Lover.
