TAYLOR'S IN VOGUE

With new Republic set, Lover, due to drop on 8/23, Taylor Swift has granted an audience to Vogue for an in-depth cover story. And while the several of the visuals present her looking dashingly, um, tailored, the conversation (with writer Abby Aguirre) unbuttons some of the more complicated issues attached to her stardom and her work. It's a compelling read and features some thoughtful commentary about creativity, fame, gender, electoral politics and the "dollhouse" of social-media land. Check it out here.
