CHANCE HAS HIS DAY

The Big Day, the first-ever proper studio album from Chance the Rapper (on his own Chance the Rapper label), has arrived at last. The 22-track set (complete with multiple skits) features contributions from Nicki Minaj, Shawn Mendes, DaBaby, Bon Iver's Justin Vernon, Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie and many more.

On its first day of release, Day climbed #2 at iTunes. We also note a shout-out to Epic Chairman Sylvia Rhone in the leadoff cut, "All Day Long."

How will this eagerly awaited set fare on our next chart? Stay tuned.
