Thom Zimny and Springsteen’s Western Stars is a concert film that includes Springsteen discussing life, rock music and the American dream.
Once Were Brothers: Robbie Robertson and The Band is directed by Daniel Roher and executive produced by Martin Scorsese, Brian Grazer and Ron Howard. The film covers Roberston’s life in Toronto and on the Six Nations of the Grand River reserve and of The Band.
Unjoo Moon’s I Am Woman is the Opening Night Film that tells Reddy’s story. In Rupert Goold’s Judy, Renée Zellweger portrays Garland during the last year of her life.
The 44th Toronto International Film Festival runs 9/5–15.
